Keep your lips plump, pink, and full.

Restylane® Kysse is one of the most popular lip fillers on the market for adding volume to the lips and filling in perioral lines.

Restylane® Kysse infuses your lips with moisture, volume, and elasticity for full, wrinkle-free lips. Designed specifically for the lips, it’s both firm enough to add volume, yet soft enough to sculpt and shape.

What can be treated with Restylane® Kysse?

As one of the leading lip fillers on the market, Restylane® Kysse is FDA-approved for augmenting lips and reducing the appearance of lip wrinkles, specifically the perioral lines.

How much does Restylane® Kysse cost?

At all three of our RejuvenationMD medical spa locations in Bothell, Burlington, and Bellingham, we offer Restylane® Kysse for $800/syringe.

The cost of your Restylane® Kysse will depend on how much of the product is used. Most patients need multiple syringes to achieve their goal results.

When you consult with us for lip injections, we’ll develop a treatment plan tailored for you.

All new patients at RejuvenationMD receive a $200 credit toward any treatment, which can be used toward Restylane® Kysse, and the ASPIRE Rewards program makes it easy to save on your favorite treatments

What is a Restylane® Kysse treatment like?

After discussing your goals and laying out a treatment plan with you, one of our experienced injectors will inject your lips with Restylane® Kysse.

We may add some product above your lips to smooth out the perioral lines above your lips.

Immediately after your injections, you should be able to walk out our doors and continue your day as normal.

Am I a candidate for Restylane® Kysse?

If you want to make your lips fuller while keeping a more natural look, Restylane® Kysse can be great for you.

Beyond lip plumping, we may recommend Restylane® Kysse to you if you come to our office hoping to minimize your perioral lines or restore the pink color to your lips for some rejuvenation.

How does Restylane® Kysse differ from other lip fillers?

For most patients, Restylane® Kysse requires less product to achieve their goal results.

According to Restylane®, only 1.82 mL of Kysse was needed for patients to see the results they wanted compared to 2.24 mL of competing lip fillers.

What are alternatives to Restylane® Kysse?

We offer a couple alternatives to Restylane® Kysse for treating the lips:

JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® XC – This lip filler is popularly used for the same applications as Restylane® Kysse. It also does an excellent job augmenting the lips and correcting perioral lines. The main difference between Restylane® and JUVÉDERM® products is the texture. JUVÉDERM® has a smooth texture that diffuses easily into the tissue, while Restylane®’s consistency is a bit more cohesive and stays in place wherever it’s injected.

Most patients have personal preferences as to whether Restylane® or JUVÉDERM® gives them better results, but we may recommend one over the other to patients with certain tissue quality.

Belotero® – Since this product is lightweight with an ultra thin texture, it also works well for rejuvenating perioral lines.

Can Restylane® Kysse be used under the eyes?

Restylane® Kysse is for treating the lips only. We don’t advise using Kysse anywhere else as it was specifically developed for that application. Many dermal fillers, even outside of Restylane® Kysse, risk blue discoloration and lumping from lymphatic draining problems when placed in the tear troughs.

Other products within the Restylane® family, however, may be great options for treating under your eyes. Restylane® Eyelight™, for example, was developed specifically for targeting dark, hollowed-out under eyes.

How do I prepare for a Restylane® Kysse treatment?

Prior to your treatment, tell your doctor if you are currently taking any Vitamin E supplements or anti-inflammatory medications such as aspirin or ibuprofen. These can increase your risk of bruising or bleeding around your injections.

Tell your doctor if you plan to get any other treatments relating to the skin around your face such as laser or microneedling because pairing these with Restylane® Kysse can cause inflammation and other side effects.

Other precautions to take before your Restylane® Kysse treatment include:

  • Minimize sun exposure
  • Avoid drinking alcohol
  • Don’t take any painkillers before your appointment

Does Restylane® Kysse treatment hurt?

Most of our patients only report mild discomfort or “poking” during injections, and patients rarely tell us Restylane® Kysse is painful.

The product contains lidocaine, a common agent used for numbing, and we’ll also apply a topical anesthetic before injecting the treatment to avoid discomfort as much as possible.

When will I see the results of my Restylane® Kysse treatment?

You should start to see results right away, with final results visible after one to two weeks.

What are the possible side effects of Restylane® Kysse?

Like any other dermal filler out there, Restylane® Kysse has some possible complications that may occur.

Though most are rare, possible side effects of the injections include:

  • Swelling and/or bruising
  • Tenderness
  • Lumps or bumps
  • Discoloration
  • Itching
  • Redness
  • Pain

How long do Restylane® Kysse results last? Does it really last longer than other lip fillers?

Most of our patients see results from Restylane® Kysse for up to a year. It’s one of the longer-lasting options for lip filler. Keep in mind, however, that everyone’s body naturally metabolizes filler at a different rate.

Is there any downtime needed after a Restylane® Kysse treatment?

As soon as you step out of our office after your Restylane® Kysse appointment, you’re free to continue your usual activities without much caution.

You may have some swelling, bruising, or redness at first, but this will all go away on its own within two weeks.

There are a few activities you should generally steer away from within the first 24 hours of your injections, including:

  • Exercising excessively
  • Taking anti-inflammatory medications
  • Excessive sun exposure
