PRP Hair Restoration results in stronger, thicker and longer hair.
PRP restores thinning hair. Both male and female hair loss can be devastating. Using PRP for hair loss is a natural, non-surgical solution that helps hair become stronger, thicker and longer. The treatment restores the damaged hair follicles via growth factors and secretory proteins from the increased concentration of platelets and their bioactive molecules. It is a wonderful preventative treatment that delivers amazing results. We can’t emphasize how important it is for patients to get treated as soon as they notice their hair beginning to thin. Once the hair follicles die, we cannot restore them.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What does it treat?
PRP Hair Restoration treats hypertrichosis of the eyebrows and beard. It can help restore hair lost from Alopecia Areata and Alopecia Totalis. It also restores thinning hair to help prevent female and male pattern hair loss.
Does it hurt?
The amazing results make this a tolerable treatment. We do apply a potent numbing cream prior to treatment, we also offer Pro-Nox™ and apply our Zimmer cooling machine that chills the area to help ease discomfort.
Who is a good candidate?
For anyone with thinning hair, eyebrows or beards. If you are bald, PRP cannot regrow your hair.
How does it work?
We will have you apply a special shampoo before arriving to the office. Upon your arrival we’ll numb the area with a potent topical numbing cream, then we draw your blood and place it into a specialized aesthetic centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma from the red blood cells. Your physician injects your PRP into the scalp, eyebrows or beard (wherever you have thinning). And we follow the PRP injections by microneedling your platelet-poor plasma into the treatment area, which enhances the results. Patients are sent home with a special laser cap, serum and shampoo to ensure optimal results.
How long do results last?
The results vary, however, they can last 12 to 18 months or longer depending on the underlying condition that caused the hair loss. Women typically do one treatment to start then one treatment yearly for maintenance. Men may need two to three treatments to start then they can go to a yearly maintenance. Your provider will prescribe a protocol that’s best for your needs.
Recovery time & side effects?
Although there is no downtime, there will be some temporary tenderness. Some patients feel there is a time during which their hair seems to be shedding two to four weeks after the procedure is done. This is just a resetting of the follicle and it resolves within a couple of weeks.
What is the procedure time?
Treatments are about 90 minutes.
When can I expect results?
Improvements in hair growth can be seen in four to eight months.

Real life patient stories
“A lot of people take for granted how they can just pull their hair back. My hair was too thin to do that until I had PRP Hair Restoration treatments from RejuvenationMD. They literally changed my life. I am always grateful each time I get to pull my hair back without worrying.”
